Une r\u00e9compense de 5000 francs avait \u00e9t\u00e9 fix\u00e9e pour les laur\u00e9ats. Ensuite, il a fallu quelque temps et plusieurs projets pour finaliser et adopter un r\u00e8glement en accord avec l\u2019ENM. Cet accord avec l\u2019ENM a \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 et approuv\u00e9 lors de l\u2019AG du samedi 16 octobre 1993, toujours \u00e0 Boulogne-Billancourt (si\u00e8ge de la DMN \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9poque).<br>Le premier prix de l\u2019AAM a concern\u00e9 une promotion d\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ves ing\u00e9nieurs des travaux (EITM) sortie en 1993 et a \u00e9t\u00e9 remis \u00e0 Philippe LAMARQUE lors de l\u2019AG du 19 novembre 1994 \u00e0 Trappes au SETIM (Service des Equipements et Techniques Instrumentales de la M\u00e9t\u00e9orologie). A cette occasion, Patrick BROCHET a rappel\u00e9 les modalit\u00e9s d\u2019attribution du prix : \u00ab Les candidats ont 6 mois, \u00e0 compter de leur sortie de l\u2019ENM, pour r\u00e9diger un article de quelques pages sur un sujet d\u2019ordre m\u00e9t\u00e9orologique et qui peut \u00eatre d\u00e9duit de leur m\u00e9moire de fin d\u2019\u00e9tudes \u00bb. Le jury \u00e9tait alors constitu\u00e9, outre Patrick Brochet, de Pierre Duverg\u00e9, Henri Treussart et Albert Chaussard. <br><br>C\u2019est lors de l\u2019AG du 14 septembre 2004 \u00e0 Lyon, que le Conseil d\u2019Administration r\u00e9uni en cours d\u2019Assembl\u00e9e G\u00e9n\u00e9rale a propos\u00e9 de baptiser le prix AAM \u00ab prix Patrick Brochet \u00bb, afin de lui rendre hommage de son vivant. A la reprise de la s\u00e9ance, l\u2019Assembl\u00e9e G\u00e9n\u00e9rale a fait sienne cette proposition \u00e0 l\u2019unanimit\u00e9. A noter que le prix attribu\u00e9 en 1994 a \u00e9t\u00e9 qualifi\u00e9 de \u00ab prix 1993 \u00bb, selon l\u2019ann\u00e9e de sortie de l\u2019ENM du candidat, mais il a \u00e9t\u00e9 rapidement convenu que le prix de l\u2019ann\u00e9e N serait attribu\u00e9 aux \u00e9l\u00e8ves sortis de l\u2019ENM au cours de l\u2019ann\u00e9e N-1 et remis l\u2019ann\u00e9e N.<br>Apr\u00e8s une p\u00e9riode o\u00f9 le prix \u00e9tait attribu\u00e9 alternativement aux ing\u00e9nieurs et aux techniciens, le quasi-\u00e9puisement du recrutement de techniciens par l\u2019ENM a conduit \u00e0 la r\u00e9forme de 2018. Celle-ci a consist\u00e9 en la mise en place d\u2019un prix unique, ouvert chaque ann\u00e9e \u00e0 toutes les cat\u00e9gories d\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ves.<br><br>Pendant un temps, le prix a \u00e9t\u00e9 remis au Centre International de Conf\u00e9rence de la M\u00e9t\u00e9opole \u00e0 Toulouse, lors de la c\u00e9r\u00e9monie de remise des dipl\u00f4mes de fin de cycle de formation des diverses promotions d\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ves de l\u2019Ecole Nationale de la M\u00e9t\u00e9orologie. Ainsi, les laur\u00e9ats du prix de l\u2019AAM avaient la possibilit\u00e9 de pr\u00e9senter leur m\u00e9moire prim\u00e9 devant l\u2019ensemble des \u00e9l\u00e8ves et de l\u2019encadrement de l\u2019ENM. Ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, cette remise s\u2019est tenue pendant les ateliers de mod\u00e9lisation de l\u2019atmosph\u00e8re (AMA, organis\u00e9s par le Centre National de Recherches M\u00e9t\u00e9orologiques), occasion pour les laur\u00e9ats de pr\u00e9senter leur travaux \u00e0 une assembl\u00e9e de chercheurs et pour l\u2019AAM de pr\u00e9senter ses activit\u00e9s dans le
