Nous nous \u00e9tions auparavant restaur\u00e9s au \u00ab\u00a0Caf\u00e9 de la marine\u00a0\u00bb, avec un d\u00e9licieux buffet dont les plats \u00e9taient tr\u00e8s bien cuisin\u00e9s avec un bon rapport qualit\u00e9\/prix.<br>Si vous avez envie d\u2019admirer des \u0153uvres architecturales fran\u00e7aises, sans avoir \u00e0 parcourir des kilom\u00e8tres \u00e0 travers le pays, filez 1 place du Trocad\u00e9ro \u00e0 Paris\u00a0\u00e0 La Cit\u00e9 de l\u2019Architecture et du Patrimoine\u00a0! C\u2019est la seule institution au monde d\u00e9di\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019architecture contemporaine et au patrimoine \u00e0 r\u00e9unir un mus\u00e9e, une \u00e9cole, un centre de prospective en architecture contemporaine, une biblioth\u00e8que et un centre d\u2019archives. Au d\u00e9but du XIXe si\u00e8cle, les cath\u00e9drales et ch\u00e2teaux tombent en ruines dans l\u2019indiff\u00e9rence g\u00e9n\u00e9rale. Mais, en pr\u00e9vision de l\u2019exposition universelle de 1878, l\u2019architecte Viollet-le-Duc qui s\u2019est donn\u00e9 pour mission de d\u00e9fendre le patrimoine m\u00e9di\u00e9val fait le projet d\u2019un mus\u00e9e de sculpture compar\u00e9e. Pour cela, il constitue des \u00e9quipes d\u2019artisans qui vont faire sur place, aux quatre coins de la France, des moulages en pl\u00e2tre, par tron\u00e7ons, de divers monuments\u00a0: portails de cath\u00e9drales, statues et autres \u00e9l\u00e9ments d\u2019architecture. Puis, de retour \u00e0 Paris, \u00e0 partir de ces copies \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle 1, ils vont reconstituer les ouvrages, en ajoutant de la r\u00e9sine et de la patine. Ce travail de moulage durera jusqu\u2019en 1940 environ. (Photo 5). Le d\u00e9veloppement des p\u00e8lerinages conduit \u00e0 la cr\u00e9ation d\u2019un d\u00e9ambulatoire et \u00e0 l\u2019ajout d\u2019un trumeau au centre des portails, avec l\u2019entr\u00e9e \u00e0 sa gauche et la sortie \u00e0 sa droite, ainsi qu\u2019on peut l\u2019observer sur la copie de la basilique Sainte Marie-Madeleine de V\u00e9zelay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Plusieurs maquettes sont expos\u00e9es, comme celle de la cath\u00e9drale de Laon (1155-1235), maquette qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9e par des d\u00e9tenus du Val d\u2019Oise (Photo 6, avec ses b\u0153ufs en incrustation \u00e0 gauche, en hommage \u00e0 ceux qui ont aid\u00e9 les ouvriers lors de la construction&nbsp;!) ou celle de Notre-Dame de Paris (1163-1345). Pour la renaissance, ce sont plut\u00f4t les ch\u00e2teaux et les h\u00f4tels particuliers qui sont reproduits.<br>Au deuxi\u00e8me niveau est \u00e9voqu\u00e9e l\u2019\u00e9volution des immeubles avec leurs architectes comme le baron Haussmann (1809-1891). L\u2019\u00c9cole d\u2019Architecture cr\u00e9\u00e9e en 1860 am\u00e8ne \u00e0 une r\u00e9flexion sur la fa\u00e7on d\u2019habiter et sur l\u2019application de principes hygi\u00e9nistes telle la cr\u00e9ation de salles de bain. Dans les ann\u00e9es 1910-1920, c\u2019est l\u2019\u00e9poque des cit\u00e9s jardin pour les ouvriers.<br>Puis, apr\u00e8s la deuxi\u00e8me guerre mondiale, il fallut construire vite et bon march\u00e9. C\u2019est alors que le b\u00e9ton fut \u00e0 la mode, notamment avec l\u2019architecte Auguste Perret (dont nous avions vu l\u2019\u0153uvre au centre ville du Havre lors de la croisi\u00e8re sur la Seine en 2022) ou avec son \u00e9l\u00e8ve Le Corbusier. Enfin, apr\u00e8s deux heures pass\u00e9es au c\u0153ur du patrimoine, notre groupe se disperse sous une reproduction en mosa\u00efque de la coupole int\u00e9rieure de la cath\u00e9drale de Cahors.
