En d\u00e9pit d\u2019un air un peu frais au matin, la journ\u00e9e s\u2019annonce superbe sous un ciel sans nuages. Il s\u2019agit d\u2019un ermitage implant\u00e9 vraisemblablement autour de l\u2019an mil, bien qu\u2019une l\u00e9gende fasse remonter sa fondation \u00e0 Saint Louis, deux si\u00e8cles plus tard. Propri\u00e9t\u00e9 du domaine royal, puis d\u2019un dignitaire de l\u2019ordre religieux catholique des trinitaires, il est d\u00e9truit au d\u00e9but du XVIII<sup>e<\/sup> sur ordre de Louis XIV apr\u00e8s l\u2019assassinat du dernier ermite.<br>Nous poursuivons ensuite notre chemin vers le sud avant de nous orienter vers l\u2019est et commencer \u00e0 gravir les premiers contreforts du rocher Cassepot en suivant scrupuleusement les marques bleues appos\u00e9es sur les arbres ou les rochers. Arriv\u00e9s \u00e0 un endroit ombrag\u00e9, o\u00f9 la disposition des rochers semble propice pour une halte (Photo 2), nous d\u00e9cidons de faire la pause casse-cro\u00fbte, non sans avoir \u00e9cout\u00e9 Jean Coiffier, bellifontain depuis quelques ann\u00e9es, raconter l\u2019histoire des sentiers bleus et de son \u00ab\u00a0inventeur\u00a0\u00bb.<br><br>Claude-Fran\u00e7ois Denecourt (1788-1875), n\u00e9 vers la fin du XVIII<sup>e<\/sup> si\u00e8cle et engag\u00e9 volontaire sous le l<sup>er<\/sup> Empire participe aux combats en Saxe et en Espagne, puis, suite \u00e0 des blessures, est affect\u00e9 \u00e0 Mayence avant de se replier sur Paris avec les arm\u00e9es napol\u00e9oniennes. Sous la Restauration, il obtient un poste de portier \u00e0 Versailles, puis \u00e0 Fontainebleau, o\u00f9 il d\u00e9couvre avec passion la beaut\u00e9 de la for\u00eat qui entoure la petite cit\u00e9. Au d\u00e9but des ann\u00e9es 1840, il prend l\u2019initiative d\u2019ouvrir des itin\u00e9raires sinueux balis\u00e9s par des fl\u00e8ches de peinture bleue au milieu des rochers, puis entreprend la publication d\u2019un premier guide permettant aux promeneurs de d\u00e9couvrir les merveilles de la for\u00eat. Il d\u00e9cide ensuite de lancer une souscription pour r\u00e9aliser un certain nombre de travaux\u00a0: d\u00e9gagement de grottes, am\u00e9nagement de fontaines, puis enfin \u00e9rection d\u2019une tour, d\u00e9nomm\u00e9e Fort l\u2019Empereur, inaugur\u00e9e par Napol\u00e9on III en 1853. Apr\u00e8s le succ\u00e8s de ses guides r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement \u00e9dit\u00e9s, il obtient m\u00eame une cons\u00e9cration litt\u00e9raire, puisqu\u2019un hommage est rendu solennellement en 1855 au \u00ab\u00a0Sylvain\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0Denecourt avec la participation de plusieurs gloires litt\u00e9raires de l\u2019\u00e9poque.<br><br>Apr\u00e8s avoir reconstitu\u00e9 nos forces avec les provisions du repas extraites nos sacs et d\u00e9gust\u00e9 un petit caf\u00e9 chaud tout \u00e0 fait bienvenu sorti d\u2019un thermos, nous reprenons notre marche en serpentant \u00e0 travers les rochers, dont certains, identifi\u00e9s par des lettres, ont une forme caract\u00e9ristique ou ressemblent \u00e0 des cr\u00e9atures fantastiques (Photo 3). Nous abordons alors la partie dangereuse de l\u2019itin\u00e9raire, puisqu\u2019il nous faut traverser la route d\u00e9partementale menant \u00e0 Fontaine-le-Port au bord de la Seine. C\u2019est chose faite, une fois \u00e9vit\u00e9es les files de voitures venant \u00e0 vive allure de la droite comme de la gauche, et nous nous retrouvons sur un sentier dont la pente se rel\u00e8ve peu \u00e0 peu pour nous faire d\u00e9boucher sur une esplanade \u00e0 136 m\u00e8tres d\u2019altitude o\u00f9 se dresse la fameuse tour d\u00e9sormais appel\u00e9e Tour Denecourt.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/anciensmeteos.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/20260424-IDF-bois-le-roi-03-scaled.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"354\" src=\"https:\/\/anciensmeteos.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/20260424-IDF-bois-le-roi-vignette-03.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-22328\" style=\"width:400px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/anciensmeteos.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/20260424-IDF-bois-le-roi-vignette-03.jpg 500w, https:\/\/anciensmeteos.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/20260424-IDF-bois-le-roi-vignette-03-300x212.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 85vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Photo 3 : un rocher singulier<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nous gravissons alors la quarantaine de marches qui nous permet d\u2019atteindre l\u2019\u00e9troite plateforme sommitale, d\u2019o\u00f9 nous pouvons d\u00e9couvrir, aid\u00e9s en cela par deux tables d\u2019orientation, une magnifique vue \u00e0 360 degr\u00e9s sur la canop\u00e9e de la for\u00eat, ainsi que sur les plus proches villages situ\u00e9s \u00e0 sa lisi\u00e8re. Un rapide coup d\u2019\u0153il sur notre position donn\u00e9e par le GPS nous confirme que nous avons oubli\u00e9 de bifurquer. Nous nous dirigeons alors vers un carrefour pour rejoindre le chemin balis\u00e9 et retrouver nos deux amis qui avaient scrupuleusement suivi l\u2019itin\u00e9raire. Nous abordons alors le circuit des trois fontaines am\u00e9nag\u00e9es par Denecourt.
